I'M JENNIFER.
Several years ago I found myself in schools after working in the outpatient setting. Though I was fortunate to have wonderful team members to orient me to the school setting, I struggled to confidently understand and embrace my role in the school setting.
When I moved to a different state, I realized just how much variation there can be in schools. While seeking answers and guidance, I saw how many other practitioners were struggling with the same concerns and frustrations.
Determined to improve my processes and build capacity to be a better therapist, I spent hours researching and learning.
After experiencing the relief and increased confidence that came from studying reputable and well grounded information about schools, I knew I needed to create resources to empower other school-based practitioners on this journey.
Otherwise, you're left to flounder, which is rough, right?
