When I made the change from outpatient pediatrics to school-based practice over 6 years ago, I had no idea how much I had to learn. 

Schools are a unique setting, and it is vital that as OT practitioners we understand the foundations of school-based practice in order to best meet the needs of our student (while preventing burnout for ourselves!).
