I've been there.
As a school-based OT, I've dealt with all the frustrations - lack of time, inadequate support, a heavy caseload.
Making the change from the outpatient setting to schools, I felt overwhelmed and confused. Just about every time I thought I knew what I was doing, something would cause me to second-guess myself. I noticed that actual practice and best practice were often misaligned in the school setting.
I dove into reading, studying, and problem-solving. As I found strategies and tools that empowered me to fulfill my role, I realized that I needed to support other school-based practitioners so that they could break free from imposter syndrome and experience joy and success at work.
I love helping practitioners problem-solve and find ways to more effectively meet the needs of their students, their teams, and themselves.
